Simple

Thursday July 26th

We woke up at 6:00 a.m. today and arrived in the living room late. Played tournament against American team, Blazers, and tied 1-1. Played against England and lost 0-1. It was a very good game! They were very nice afterward, but they played almost rough as Scotland. And it was hard understand them when they talked. We went to Haarlem after and went shopping. Found a nice little jewelery shop called six. they had everything organized by color along the walls. I got two cool keychains and a necklace with wings. Amy and Karina were hungary so we went to a place called The Place Tortilla and they got burritos. Karina had to go to the bathroom, so we went to McDonalds and had to pay 5 cents to use the restroom. We decided to eat there but we didn't stay long because some French gangster boys came aroud and said, "Bonjour," then started taking our picture with their camera phones. We left quickly. We found the ice cream shop that we went to previously and I got some chocolate and hazelnut ice cream, which was even better thatn the first! We were on time for the bus today and went back to the Friendship Village for the ceremony. It wasn't that great because they had all the kids coming into the middle field and America was HUGE so we took a long time getting on the field and the stands were somewhat full of happy parents and the odd spectator coming to see what was going on. None of the kids were paying attention and they had this guy juggle a soccer ball on stage while we just stood there so it was some filler entertainment to keep us occupied for an hour or so. We ended up leaving early anyway, which we were all pretty happy about.
