Monday July 23rd 11:00 p.m.
We went to clinic first in the morning. The grass was all wet but practice was easier because we are starting the tourname
nt games tomorrow. After clinic we rode over to the Ajax stadium, they are a famous football(soccer) team. They dropped us off there for about 3 hours! They didn't even let us see the stadium. Instead, we went to the Official Ajax Fanshop and the Ajax Museum. yay...
There were no shops open in the little square outside the museum and only one food stand was open. So, to pass the time, we looked through bushes and watched little fountains.

When we finally left, we headed over to Haarlem, a very nice city with not as many coffeeshops as Amsterdam. We went to an ice cream shop and I got some really good hazelnut ice cream for .80 euro cents. Did a lot of shopping and picture taking.
After Haarlem we went to the Friendship Village for no apparent reason. We were stuck outside in the pouring rain with only 2 umbrellas (one of them being mine) for around 40 people waiting for our bus to come. When the bus did show up we ran and screamed for joy!
Back at the hotel, Amy's, my roommate, soccer bag arrived, BUT it was very wet and most of the stuff inside smelled like wet shinguard (not a pretty smell). Hopefully tomorrow will be better.
