argue the point
For the rest of the semester in English, we get to write argumentative essays on the major issues of the world and this country. They include: capital punishment, school uniforms, abortion, legal drinking age, gay marriage/definition of marriage, parental consent/underage pregnancy, religion in schools/teaching creationism or evolution, the morning after pill, sex education in schools, and faith v. reason.
